Hello. I have quite a bit of information on the family of maurice and alice march marsh. It turns out that her son george was the archbishop of canterbury, and their son Sir maurice,who was my great grandfather ( 9 greats that is). My great aunt and her son travled to a geneology library in washington , in the 1980's and gathered a bunch of information. To my knowlege the information is accurate. All the geneology sights are very accurate and matched my documents on paper. I looked up information on george and only found a few sights though. www.georgeabbot.surrey.sch.uk/gasintro.htm, and a britannia biography on him. If you have trouble just look up george archbishop of canterbury. I also found his own coat of arms, which belongs only to his decendents , it was most likley granted to him because he was a well to do man, and considered noble. Sadly, My ancestor maurice was only mentioned once in the first article. If you would like any more information then let me no and !
I would be happy to help.My great aunt also discovered that we are related to the abbot's of andover. I believe it was georges son george who came to live in andover massachusetts. I haven't read the document in a while though.
