To Jackie Morgan and other BRYAN(T) seekers,
I am responding to an old Ala Digest concerning JAMES R BRYAN. My
ansestors were BRYAN untill 1850 when my GGGrandfather added a "T" on the family
name and all since have been BRYANT.
My family migrated into Va. to N.C. to Ga.and than to AL. We have
commonality in time and a name.
The last record that I have on a JAMES R BRYAN was the child of WILLIAM
BRYAN and MARY ROBINSON. JAMES (a twin to ANDREW) was born in Va. 23 Nov 1772.
It is possible that we have a family linkage. Most BRYANs come from the
same Irish clan.
I have 14 generations of BRYAN and BRYANTS starting with WILLIAM SMITH
BRYAN who migrated from County Clare, Ireland into the Piedmont region of Va.
in 1650.
I published my book on the BRYAN clan in 1999.
I am missing all decendants of JAMES R BRYAN listed above. It would be
nice if we can connect the family.
Still Searching,
James A. Bryant
