If George drew a pension, there would be a record of his application, which
might contain information to help sort out which one. Also, if he died
before his wife and she applied, there will be much more information.

Some of the larger libraries have microfim of the pension applictions. If
you are out-of-state, copies can be ordered from the state archives.

There are also service records on microfilm. The place of enlistment is
usually given on them. This might help identify which one. Sometimes the
age and/or physical description is given.
