I have been working my family tree for over 50 years but have one problem that was already a problem then. my great grandmother

LOVINA ALLEN b July 24, 1824 at Hudson, Columbia Co NY according to genealogist Innes Getty. in a 1951 letter. Her parents were listed as WILLIAM ALLEN and PHOEBE BARTOW. I have never found anything on either of them.

Lovina grew up. married ABRAHAM VAN ALLEN about 1845 they movd to Onondaga Co, NY, had 11 children including my grandmother Phoebe Van Allen m Charley Van Buskirk.
lovina died in 1917 she was either 95 or in her 95th year when she died. I have pictures of her seated with some of her daughters. One of her daughters Mary 1866 - 1966 missed her 100th birthday by 6 weeks. Her memory provided a lot of my Van Allen data, and she understood her mother had lived in Dutchess Co NY.
Otherwise Lovina is a mystery, one of my solid brick walls.

I hope someone can help identify her family background.
