I just came across a bit of information I have had actually for quite some
time, taken from a book called "Colonial & revolutionary Families of
Pennsylvania" and after looking at at it carefully and penciling it out as I
went, I see that it conflicts with the ANDERSON information I have concerning
James and Elizabeth (Jerman) ANDERSON and their family.

I show that James ANDERSON came indentured to Thomas JERMAN who with his wife
Elizabeth had 2 daughters, Elizabeth and Mary. James married daughter
Elizabeth (who for sake of clarity here I will refer to as Eliz-2)

This book says that Eliz-2 was the daughter of John JARMAN and Margaret and
had a brother John b. 11-12-1684. And then says that youngest daughter
Sarah, married Thomas THOMAS (later in article calls him Reese THOMAS) and
that they had 7 children.- does not mention a daughter Mary at all. It then
goes on to say that Edward Jarman of Philadelphia - father of Sarah who was
wife to Isaac WALKER, was probably also a son of John and Margaret. I have
this connection in my files as well with Sarah's last name spelled JARMAN and
have often wondered if she might have been related to my JERMAN family ...

Have any of you ever seen this information and are familiar with these lines?

I don't have any source reference for Thomas Jerman and wife Elizabeth. For
Elizabeth Jerman and James Anderson, I reference the Revolutionary War
Pension Files and the Chester County Pennsylvania Abstract of Wills.
However, the actual copies of these documents are either no longer in my
possession or are packed away in the store room and not easily accessible.

Any help in straightening this out would be appreciated.

(It's raining in San Antonio AGAIN today and my 8-yr old is with her aunt for
the weekend so I'm determined to get through some of these 2-year old
"to-do/research/respond to" notes I've got piled up LOL)
