Christine, i took a look at your website and while i can not find a direct
link, we certainly have many of the same surnames. Have you been able to
take your family back any further? My family surnames include McKenzie,
Young, Fyfe, Millar, Ritchie, Robbie, Robertson, Livingston. All are from
around the Forfar area.

I have a David Stewart b. 1851 Perth married to Catherine Ritchie Young in
Forfar. My most recent James Young is b. 1832 to George Young and Ann
Ritchie and he would be the brother of Catherine Ritchie Young above. I
also have an Agnes Fenton b. 1819 married to James Fyfe b. 1819 in Forfar
area. And while my direct connection to all these is through the McKenzie
surname, I can not find a connection.

I am listing below a few of my McKenzie ancestors to see if any of these
sound familiar.
William b. 1846 Inverarity, John b. 1847 Inverarity, Margaret b. 1851
Inverarity, Jane Robbie b. 1852 Inverarity, Mary b. 1857 Inverarity, Janet
b. 1858 ch. Forfar, David Miller b. 1860 Tealing, Elizabeth Robertson b.
1863 Tealing, James Marnie b. 1867 Tealing, and Helen McKenzie b. 1869. All
of these children were born to David McKenzie (1824 Lintrathen) and Margaret
Miller (1828). This David McKenzie is the son of David McKenzie (1795
Lintrathen) and Jean Robbie (1798).

If you come across anything that sounds familiar, please let me know.
