I wonder whether in fact CHRISTON was Agnes' surname, she retaining it
after marriage as a second forename? This was not unusual in Scotland.
Have you searched Scots Origins (http://www.origins.net/GRO/) for this
marriage? Thereby is an initial fee of £6 but, if the search is
successful, you could order online a copy of the marriage record for a
further fee.
Apologies if you know Scots Origins already.
