In the 1881 census, there were 24 pages, with up to 25 entries per page,
devoted to
"Royal Lunatic Asylum Of Montrose" Sunnyside

I have records of two people who died there, one in 1890, and the other in
1981, this time it was known as Sunnyside hospital. I presume it is the same
place.
I managed to find this link. The hospital is obviously still in use.
Unfortunately is does not give any history, but there is a picture.
