Hello Carol,
I did a search on the NSW BDM site and found Frances and
Phillip PONT. They had several other children.....James in 1840, Hannah
in 1842, Hester in 1843, John in 1845 Mary in 1848,.Ann in 1849, Robert
in 1851, Jane E in 1853 , Caroline in 1855 and HenryT in 1858. None from
then on.
In 1858 there was a James PONT died, parents Frances and
Philip, and in 1859 there was a death for Thomas , same parents.
I can't seem to find Harriett though. I must admit I only
searched for a while!!

The site is
http://www.bdm.nsw.gov.au/Services/IndexSrch.html It is
searchable....free.... births to 1905 and marriages and deaths to
1945. You can keep searching and follow the lives of the family
through to those dates.
