Hello Michael,
Am interested in making a submission to your Dictionary. However, do not
know if I have enough information for what you are after......still chasing
down this line of the family!! In fact, we have not been able to trace much
of what this family did.
We know that John was farming in Victoria, but then was bankrupted due to
crop losses etc. I have copies of Banckruptcy proceedings as reported in
the paper.
He then turned up in the Norwood District of SA, before finally settling in
WA.
I've copied a brief family report on John GAFFY (GAFFEY) to see if it is
what you want. I will have a look at the 'genie' shed on Saturday to see if
we have a copy of the Bicentennial Dictionary you mentioned. If this is not
what you want, just let me know.

As I said, I do not have much info on this family, however, if you think
there will be enough historical detail, I will write up a submission. We
are currently tracking down Margaret Gaffy's birth and
death........something that should be fairly easy is turning into something
of a nightmare!!

do!!?!?!?)
