Jill,

As the new list admin, I thought I could answer your question.

Luckily for me and all the other administrators out there, we don't have to
read every message before they get onto the list. It is all automatic.

The main role of the List Admin is to ensure the smooth running of the list
by helping discussions to stay on track; not allowing unsolicited spam
mails; answering questions about the list; cleaning up after people change
their emails and don't notify the list; etc

In most cases, there really isn't that much to do, especially with a list of
this size.

Regards,
Michael
