Hello David

Not sure if you have heard from anyone else but here is what I have found.

CHEEK Mary Ann 29 Alfred 1857 2138, 2475

The last two numbers 2138 and 2475 are for the shipping lists and immigration list
that are on microfilm either at the NSW archives at Kingswood near Penrith NSW or
your State Library may have them. They will give additional detail as to where she
was from, possibly parents and some other detail.

This came from the site for the state of New South Wales
http://www.records.nsw.gov.au/ that has a number of records online. By following
the pathway 'Services' then 'online resources' then scroll down until you see
immigration and convict indexes and click on 'immigration' and then use the search
facilities to find what you are looking for. You can also check the ship to find
other passengers arriving on the 'Alfred', I found there are 24 pages with
approximately 20 names to a page. An Elizabeth DAVIES arrived on the same ship.
