Subject: SUTHERLAND, Alexander b. 1813 in Scotland

Does anyone recognize this name?

SUTHERLAND, Alexander - born 23 April 1813 in Parish of Kildonan,
Sutherlandshire [parents Donald 'mohr' SUTHERLAND and Rose GORDON - Rose or
Roseann GORDON was formerly of Loth].

Alexander's older brother, William SUTHERLAND married Christina ROSS. They
settled/died in Tamworth, NSW.

I have been unable to trace Alexander SUTHERLAND beyond his birth [old
parish records]. It suddenly occurs to me that he may have followed his
older brother to New South Wales.

With thanks for any help or suggestions,

Frances Bishop
