Hello Listers,
My name is Jenny, I am a Carer for my husband, and we live in a small town almost centre of NSW.

We are looking for help with the birth, death, parents, and siblings of Hugh McLAUCHLAN {or variants} who married Mary BEGGS in Sorn, Ayrshire, Scotland in 1840.
Hugh and Mary came to Australia the same year, 1840 as Bounty Immigrants on the ship "Lady Clarke", brought out by J. Marshall.

The children we know of:
They had one daughter, Christina, a few days out from Sydney 1840.
Elizabeth 1841 Kempsey? married Armer BOYLE.
Charles 1843.
Christina 1844 Yass married Thomas BEVERIDGE 1861 Albury.
Charles 1847 Yass.
Samuel 1848 Yass married Lillias Caroline WHITE 1878 Deniliquin. Mary 1851 married George Samuel LAWLER 1871 Deniliquin.

Hugh died between 1851 and 1876 as Mary BEGGS, living in Jerilderie, married William PHILLIPS Farmer of Barnawartha, 1876 in Victoria. William and Mary had a son Richard William or William Richard PHILLIPS who married Sarah SMEE.
We cannot find a concrete death for Hugh. Can anyone help please?

On the shipping, the parents for Hugh are given as Charles and Elizabeth.
Can anyone help with Hugh's parents please?

Any help or clues would be very much appreciated.
