Hi Les

The Mitchell Library in Sydney has very good records including copies of the
pay lists for at least some regiments in Australia.

My interest was the 39th; here from about 1827 till 1832, and went back to
UK via four years in India.

I'm in Brisbane so not much help, but someone in Sydney maybe able to do a
look up for you.
