I had a chuckle while reading of the things that parents threaten
their children with, my mother always threatened us with 'Reform
School', and said there we would have to march into class
everyday and to bed and meals!! Little did she know we used to
practise our marching just in case, although we didn't know what
'Reform School' was in later yrs when staying at my grandmothers
in Nyngan where she had teachers boarding, she used to send me
off to the local school with them to give me something to do ( I did
correspondence schooling) AND HORROR OF HORRORS!! THEY
MARCHED INTO CLASS!!!!!but it wasn't so bad so then I thought
that 'reform school' musn't be as bad as Mum made it out to be
and after that I was always very casual about my schooling!!
explains a lot!!! lol
