Thanks for posting this. I see most are Faialense names like Caldeira,
Dutra Correia, Vargas, etc., but amongst them I immediately recognized some
Terceirense named Cotta and Linhares.

I would bet they are from the Doze Ribeiras, S.Mateus, S.Bartolomeu, Santa
Barbara areas of Terceira and if you can indentify the parents of Antonio
Cotta and Maria Linhares, I am sure I know their ancestors. If you can't
identify them, I will just add them to my database for Terceira families
and some day will see who they are.
