My apologies to the list owner and to everyone who
do not agree that this List should not be used for
this purpose. Too much controversy was generated
because of the misuse of the List. I promise that
I'll not generate another email concerning this
topic. This will be my last. The following has to
be said and it is being sent also to all
governments.

Modern Mankind History has never experienced a
situation like what is happening in East Timor.

We're all to blame for, because it could have been
averted. For the first time in the United Nations
History, that organization representing all
Nations, assured a People that they will be
protected after the referendum process. This
protection was assured on the basis of promises
made by the Indonesian Government.

Every Politician and Diplomat in the world knew in
advance that the Indonesian Government did not
have the authority over the military to carry that
promise. The Indonesian people has been undergoing
a crisis for some time. So why rush into this
referendum before the right conditions were in
place. This is 20/20 hindsight.

So, we're all to blame for the tragedy of
East-Timor where people is being shot like wild
animals in front of the helpless United Nations
personal. Genocide and total destruction has been
and still going underway of the cities in
East-Timor a short distance from Australia.

So, Governments, Politicians and People of the
world do whatever you can to correct what you did
wrong. The next time may happen at your door step.
The United Stations has been humiliated and its
credibility is in doubt for the future. History is
in the making, another black episode. Genealogy
research is no longer possible in East-Timor.
