That was a great site of the churches in Rhode Island. I thought, and my
uncle thought, that it was Holy Rosary Church in Providence. Munch to my
surprise, it was the Church of the Rosary. Even goes on to state that it is a
portuguese church, formed in 1886! There is a Holy Cross basketball team from
Holy Cross Church, which would give me the mixup, though the latter is the
Italian Church. Seeing the pictures of both St. Mary's and St. Elizabeth's
(on the left is the school), brought back a flood of memories. It was a long
walk to school,St. Mary's was about the middle point for me.LOL! Obrigado,
