Cheri,
Thanks for checking on the issue with the FHL. It will be interesting to see
what else comes of it. I can understand the copyrighting of the film, but
creating an index to help others seems odd. I did want to understand
something. Are we talking about all films here or only those from certain
countries now have this label? I've got some projects going (indexing
Portuguese Hawaiian Memories, different lists from Robert DeMello's passport
book)...hmmm...And, whose to say just where I picked up this info from?
Although it would be difficult to prove someone didn't go to Sao Miguel and
meticulously sort through all the records for a town, but who is to say they
did it at the FHL instead?

As for me, I use indexes as a guideline. I always want to see the originals
if they are available just to verify. But the indexes sure are nice.
