Karen, when I saw your message I meant to thank
you for your fairness in assessing the LDS
situation. Of course we are eager to have that
site up and running as it looks like it has great
value to the world at large. I have never known
the LDS church to put a price on the research and
materials it offers to the "world at large." The
Church would never look to making a profit.Quite
the contrary, it offers its materials, programs,
at cost; many of the same for free. I am most
grateful to have a Family History Center to go to
and use its facilities and take advantage of the
volunteers' helpfulness in searching for my
ancestors. We are going to have to be patient in
waiting for the program because we know it will be
worth it. Marti
