Hi folks - not posted in some long while, but now pushed my KNIGHT
family back from Middx firmly into Newbury, where Richard Batten
KNIGHT was a tailor from at least 1830, dying in St. John's Almshouses
in 1871. He married Ann TEEL in Newbury in 1815, witnesses to the
marriage being John KNIGHT and Ann Jane TEEL.

One child of the marriage was Richard George KNIGHT b: Abt. 1826, who
married a Sarah JEFFS in 1848 in Bloomsbury, Essex, and died1876 in
West Hackney.

Anybody researching KNIGHT or TEEL in Newbury?
