Hi all

I have a Charles F Charlton 42 born Waltham st Lawrence
on the 1881 census
53 in 1891

his marriage certificate in march 1862 just Charles Charlton father William Charlton

on his sons marriage certificate he's down as Frederic Charles Charlton!
on his sons birth certificate he's Charles Frederic Charlton

I have tried ordering a birth certificate for Frederic Charles and Charles Fredric
born Berkshire but with no results

what am I doing wrong?
can anyone suggest anything else I can try?
