Dear Lynn

I think your best course of action here is to ignore the 1881 Census for the
moment and obtain the Birth Certificate of Ellen TREVILLIAN which will
confirm her corrrect place of birth and also the names of her parents
including her Mother's maiden name. You can then use the 1881 Census to
confirm where she was at the time of that Census. As TREVILLIAN is an
unusual name you "should" have no difficulty in tracing her in the GRO Birth
Index.
