Re KIMBER, MOODY and ROBINSON

Hi! My wife and I are jointly researching our family tree. Compared to
many people we have met we began very recently (May 2000), and even are
newer to the Net but have made excellent progress and already begun to
discover distant cousins and made many new friends.

Pats family are mainly from Gloucester and Suffolk. Mine from all places
in between! I am particularly interested in two Berkshire families.

Louisa Robinson who married George Alexander in Old Windsor in 1837 and
moved via Chertsey to Staines which is where my family still live. IGI
suggests Louisas father, Zechariah; g-father John (son of another John) are
listed as being baptised at Sunninghill. The 1881 census seems to indicate
contemporary relatives of Louisa seems moved to Marylebone, Hackney and
Westminster. Does anyone have an interest in this family or other leads.

My fathers Grandfather (Harry Burt) married Olive Kimber, dau of Daniel
Kimber (b Rimberry?, Bucks) and Sarah Moody . Olive was born at Inkpen and
other web-sites seem to suggest Inkpern has a long history with Kimbers.
Daniel and family moved onto to Upton cum Chalvey, Buckinghamshire where at
least one more daughter was born. Harry and Olive were married in
Brentford, Middlesex Ernest my G-grandfather was born (according to the
1881 Census CD) at Bartham, Bucks - which is probably Burnham were my
father claimed his father was born. By 1881 Harry and family, with Daniel
then a widower - and his younger daughter were living in Croydon, Surrey.
My father (Ernest Thomas Richard Burt) was born ther in 1914. Again is
anyone researching this family, please or are there any relatives out
there?
