I wish to thank John deHayes of the Berkshire list and Richard Callanan of
the Tipp List for helping me find a gt grandfather Dr. Richard PHELAN COFFEY
in Dublin and Cashel. I am most grateful for their help.

I have been searching since 1971 to find more information besides a DC in
Canada and a MC in Cappawhite Tipp. Their help led me to the Royal College
of Physicians of Ireland. The librarian Mr. Robert W. Mills located Dr.
Richard PHELAN COFFEY in the Medical Directories of 1843 and 1846 and he
printed these out and sent them to me. Richard was a graduate of the college
in 1839 and married Mary HUNT in Cappawhite Tipp in 1840.

There are names mentioned on these pages of other doctors if others would
like me to search for them.
