I noticed discussion about the limited index for Oxford ( I hope this is
the right list!)
I have a family who migrated to Australia in 1854. according to their
immigration records they were from Oxfordshire.
I wonder if they would appear on the baptism index or ? marriage index??
They are Charles PHIPPS c 7/10/1806 according to his age on arrival papers
and an IGI entry
Mary PHIPPS nee CROZIER b around 1808 ( crozier given as
her maiden name on her daughters marriage and is her daughters middle name)
there is a marriage on the IGI ? from the marriage index for a Chas Fipps
and Elizabeth in great Milton in 1806 ? Charles parents
I am looking for my Charles and Marys's marriage 1829/30 and for marys
birth
. Any hope??? Thanks kerri
