As far as I know, the original "Bramley" apple tree was in the garden of a Bramley family in Southwell, Notts, near to Southwell Minster.
I'm in touch with people researching the BRAMLEY's, if you're interested, I'll see if they have anything further. (Please contact me if you do, if not, I'll assume it's not required.
