Hi everyone,

Some exciting news! With the info explained below, I have most likely
confirmed that my husband's gg grandfather is Greg Latham's wife's ggg
uncle! Does that make us "cousins"?

I have access to the 1871 census for Clay Cross, Derby, for the next couple
of weeks, from the LatterDaySaints. Film numbers are 839779 & 839780. They
include other Ashover areas and some Hognaston. I've booked in for two hours
next Tuesday to browse. If you have any none-BRAILSFORD names that you would
like me to check, please let me know the details ASAP. (There are two films
and it took me 3.5 hours to do the following, but I'll do what I can!..
First in first served!)
The following details are... # in census, Street Name, First names, SURNAME,
Relation to head, marital status(if applic), age, sex, Occupation, Place of
Birth.
I hope this data helps someone else as much as it helped me!
Please inform me of any typos so I can correct my data base... I'm not
familiar with all areas, and the writing was a bit tricky. Note that there
were great big crosses through the ages, so some were nearest guesses.
"Double s" may also have been misinterpreted as "p"!
