Hello everybody,
I am a new subscriber to the Brailsford list. I am 50% Brailsford as that was my mother's maiden name.
Her father was Ernest b1885 in the Mansfield District.
His father was Charles Herbert b 1863 in Whitwell.
His father was Edward b 1840 in E Retford who married Eliza from Whitwell probably about 1863.
His parents appear to be Joseph & Martha who he was with in 1841, however , in 1851 he was with Hercules & Martha. He was christened as son of Joseph & Martha. I have found Hercules christened at Ordsall but can't find Joseph.
Any help greatly appreciated.

The Brailsford line is definitely my most difficult line, not helped by Ernest marrying Annie Hogan from Ireland whose father was Patrick!!
