I tried searching on just Pinantan, in the Historical database, and found:

Province/Territory : British Columbia
Feature type : Unincorporated area
Location : Yale
Latitude - Longitude : 500 44' 00" N - 1190 58' 00" W
NTS Map : 082L12

CGNDB Unique Identifier : JBDYA

You can click on a button that leads you to a map at either a national or
a regional area. The regional map looks more helpful, although there are
no cities marked on it, and Pinantan is marked with a bulls-eye.
