I am a descendant of Ann CAMPBELL and her second husband James Madison STUART.
She was born 1820 in Greenbrier Co., WVA and died in 1854 in Menard Co.
Illinois. Her parents were William Campbell b abt. 1797 in Greenbrier Co.,
died May-June 1848 and Sarah Probs dau of Nicholas. They were married 20 Sept
1819. William is said to have had a brother, George. If anyone has
information on this family I would like tohave it. They have been a puzzle to
me for many years.
