There is a John CAMPBELL, born ca. 1765 probably in Glengarry,
Inverness, Scotland. He came to Glengarry, Ontario, Canada in the late
1700's/early 1800's? His wife was Margaret McPHEE, also of Scotland.
They were married ca. 1786. He is listed in the book The Campbells and
other Glengarry - Stormont and Harrington pioneers. It lists his
descendancy. I am interested in his ancestry. He died before 25 Aug
1829, as he is listed as "late" in his daughter Ann CAMPBELL's marriage
record. He is listed in Father John McDonald's Diary of Deaths as the
husband of Margaret McPHEE. There is also a death notice of a John
CAMPBELL, who could be him, with a father named Duncan CAMPBELL.

ANY information about the above would be appreciated. Also, any leads
on research in Inverness, Scotland concerning CAMPBELLS!
