BERNUY, Jacques 84, passed away on January 5th 2007, in Victoria. He leaves
his two sons, Luc and Marc (Elaine), grandchildren Laurent and Isabelle, as
well as his seven sisters and brother, their husbands and their numerous
children. He was a man loved by close friends and the personel of the care
centers he went through in his last years. Always a word to make people
laugh around him. He will be missed as he is now close to his beloved Denise
(1982). All parents, friends and people who knew him are invited for a last
farewell on July 6th 2007, at 2:00pm at St. Joseph Parish, 785 Burnside

FISCHER, Sister Frances Mary Sister Frances Mary Fischer (Sister Frances
Louise), Sister of Saint Ann, died peacefully, June 30, 2007 at St. Ann's
Residence, Victoria, BC, at the age of 91. Born in Pandora, Alberta, to
Anton and Mary (Mehl) Fischer on December 29, 1915. In April 1938, she
entered the Novitiate of The Sisters of St. Ann, Victoria, BC, and took her
first vows July 26,1940. Until 1982, Sister Frances served in roles of
Community Service as cook, seamstress and other related service in missions
of British Columbia: Duncan, Kamloops, Campbell River, Oliver, Lower Post,
East Sooke, New Westminster and Victoria. She also served as cook in the
Yukon at St. Mary's Hospital, Dawson. From 2002, Sister resided at St. Ann's
Residence, devoting herself to Community Service and prayer. Predeceased by
her parents, her brothers Andrew, Patrick and Robert; sisters Katharine
Vogel and Margaret Goetz, she will be sadly missed and leaves to mourn her
niece Theresa Vogel (Victoria, B.C.), nephew Lawrence Vogel Sr.
(Saskatchewan) and family, niece MaryBeth Goetz-Cowie (Don) and family
(Alberta), niece Eleanor GoetzHenderson (Mel) and family (Alberta), numerous
grand-nieces and grand-nephews, cousins Martha Nagle (Oregon), Mary
Catherine and Raymond Mehl (Missouri), members of her Religious Community
and friends. A prayer service will be held at St. Ann's Residence, 2474
Arbutus Road, Victoria, BC, July 3, 2007 at 7:00 pm. A Mass of the
Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Ann's Residence, July 4, 2007 at
10:00 a.m. Following the service, interment will take place at Hatley
Memorial Gardens, Colwood. Condolences may be offered at

KELLETT, Paul It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Paul
Kellett at the age of 52. Paul is survived by his mother Eileen, sisters
Julie & Vicki, favourite aunt Marie, family in Calgary, Vancouver & England
and many friends here in Victoria. Paul moved with his family from England
in 1967 and spent all his working life with BC Med. Paul loved his dog
Shannie, soccer, books & music and and had too many friends to name but
special thanks to Frank for all your friendship and support through the
years. Paul will be greatly missed but we know he is now at peace. Paul's
ashes will be scattered at a later date and those wishing to do so may make
a donation to the SPCA in Paul's name. 385525
