DANCS _ Zoltan Theodore June 17, 1932 - July 2, 2007 It is with great
sadness that we say goodbye to a very vibrant man. Zoli is survived by his
daughter, Tara, son-in-law Jim and his three granddaughters, Tatum, Tia and
Tessa, his sister Rita (and family), and his brother, Alex (and family). He
is predeceased by his wife Teresa (Tibby) and his lovable dog, Bailey. Zoli
will now be at peace knowing that he is with them again. Thank you's go to
Zoli's great friend Conrad and his family for being so generous with their
time and friendship, and to all friends and family for their support.
Special thanks go to all the nurses from palliative home care, Interior
Health, and Douglas Fir Hospice. Your unconditional kindness to Zoli is
immensely appreciated. In lieu of flowers, one may donate to the BC Cancer
Research Centre located at 601 West 10th Ave, Vancouver BC V5Z 1L3. A
celebration of Zoli's life will be held on Saturday, July 14th, 2007 at 2:00

FISHER-SMITH _ Elsie, passed away June 30, 2007 at the age of 89 in Surrey,
B.C. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur in 1984. Leaves to mourn
daughters, Elaine and Diane (Eric); 5 grandchildren; and a great-grandmother
of 9. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to Kinsmen Place Lodge,

FOLEY _ William Lewis, 90, passed away on July 5, 2007. He will be lovingly
remembered by his daughter The Rev. Susan Foley-Currie, granddaughter Katie
(Cam), great grandson Andrew William, 5 sisters and many nieces and nephews.
He has now joined his beloved wife Kathleen. The funeral service will be
held on Thursday, July 12, 2007 at 1:30 pm at St. Mark's Anglican Church,
12953-20th Ave, Surrey, BC. (Ocean Park).

Helga Fox, born November 18th, 1931 finally lost her long and valiant battle
with heart disease at 9:00 a.m. on July 1st, 2007. Helga was predeceased by
her loving parents Robert and Gusti Renger. Helga will be lovingly
remembered and sadly missed by her many friends and her family; four
children Jacki (Amnon), Tanya (Ross), Martin and Calvin (Karen); nine
grandchildren Dalleen (Danny), Liron, Avidan, Inbi, Dean, Arianna, Jason,
Christopher and Jessi and by her longtime loving and loyal friends and
extended family members, Guy Higham and Linda and Peter Fox. Friends and
family are invited to a memorial service to celebrate Helga's life and to
mourn her death at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 10th, 2007 at First Memorial
Boal Chapel, 1505 Lillooet Road, North Vancouver. As Helga requested,
instead of flowers, donations to the Union Gospel Mission or any animal

GONZALEZ _ Eliana, born in Chile, passed away peacefully on July 4th, 2007
at St. Paul's Hospital with her family by her side. She has now joined her
beloved husband Frank of 48 years. She will be dearly missed by her loving
family, Patty (Mike) Friesen, Frank (Julie) Gonzalez and Rod Gonzalez;
grandchildren, Emily and Sara Friesen, Alicia, Daniel and Carmen Gonzalez;
Sisters Elba, Aida and Teresa, brothers, Beto and Gerardo. Funeral services
will be held on Monday, July 9th, 2007 at 11:00am at St. Joseph the Worker
Parish, 4451 Williams Rd, Richmond, B.C. In lieu of flowers, donations may
be made to the Kidney Foundation or St. Paul's Hospital Foundation in
Eliana's memory.

GOODWIN _ Winston Wayne 1969-2007 "Win" to his many friends and family left
our hearts at age 37 as a result of a tragic car accident. Win was a loving
life partner to Karen, a devoted father to Jake and Karen's children Matt
and Sam. Win is also survived by parents Allan & Pat, brother Vince, and
sister Terri Lynn. Everyone whose lives were touched by Win will deeply miss
his exuberant enthusiasm and his child like wonder and enjoyment of life.
Win's words to live by "improvise, adapt, and overcome." A celebration of
Win's life will be held at the home of close friends, Eric and Cam, on Sat.
July 14. Win is accompanied on his next journey by his inseparable companion
Knight.

KLAKOWICH _ Ruth Frances (Leslie) died peacefully in her sleep at 1:30 am on
the 22nd of June, 2007, in Burnaby B.C., at the St. Michael's Hospice. She
was born in Vancouver on the 19th of February, 1923. She was predeceased by
her husband Tony Klakowich. She is survived by her five sons, two
granddaughters, and three great-grandsons. Please do not send flowers,
rather support your local Hospice Society, or Senior's Care facility.
Memorial Service to be held at 2 PM, on the 14th of July, 2007, at the
Executive Inn, 4201 Lougheed Hwy.

KOYAMA _ Chieko July 3, 1913 - July 6, 2007 Unexpectedly passed away at
Richmond General Hospital with her family by her side. Predeceased by her
husband, Fukujiro. She will be missed by her son, Roy Koyama (Bonnie);
daughters, Mary Hikida, Shirley Inouye and May Oshiro (Patrick). She is
survived by nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Born in Mio,
Wakayama, Ken, Japan and immigrated to Ucuelet, Canada in 1921. Mama will be
remembered as a strong loving presence who had a phenomenal memory for
events and details. A celebration of Chieko Koyama's life will be held at
Richmond Funeral Home, 8420 Cambie Rd. Rmd., on July 12, 2007 at 2:00pm.
Flowers and Koden gratefully declined.

MAYHEW _ Randal (Randy) departed peacefully on July 4th, 2007 at Augustine
House, born July 2nd 1918 in Saskatchewan, predeceased by his loving wife
Marguerite, daughter Debbie and by all of his brothers and sisters. He is
survived by nieces and nephews in BC and New York. Till retirement he had a
long career with West Coast Welding Supplies and as a musician. He was very
active in the Richmond Seniors Centre till his wife's illness. In 2003 he
moved into the Augustine House Retirement Home. Longtime friends Art Kube,
his family, Frank Wall and others helped Randy to maintain his quality of
life for as long as possible. On behalf of Randy we wish to thank Dr. Lai
and the caring and friendly staff of Augustine House for the help and
kindness shown him. Randy, you where a kind man and we will miss your smile.
A celebration of Randy's life will be held on Saturday, July 14th at 2:00 pm
in the Baker View Room at 3820 Arthur Drive in Ladner. For additional

McLEAN _ William James Born February 28, 1922, passed away Canada Day, July
1, 2007. Will be missed by all who knew him.

ROSS _ Grant James of Surrey B.C. passed away suddenly on July 1, 2007 at
the age of 59. Grant is survived by his wife Janet, son Darren (Michelle),
daughter Cheryl (James), step daughter Sarah (John), granddaughters Kaleigh,
Brooklyn, Karly, Aliyah, Sierrah, grandson Trevor, brother Glen (Ellen) and
his nieces and nephews James, Erin, Rick (Yasmin) and Jennifer. Grant was
predeceased by his father James, mother Elma and brother Garry. Grant was
born in Winnipeg on October 15, 1947, moved to the Lower Mainland in 1969,
starting his career at Labatt's Brewery on March 27, 1973. Throughout his
life Grant built many great friendships as a car enthusiast and one who
enjoyed the outdoors. Grant will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
There will be no funeral upon request. In lieu of flowers, donations to
UBC's Pacific Parkinson's Research Centre Vancouver Hospital and Health
Sciences Centre would be greatly appreciated.

SAUNDERS _ Peter Paul Peter Paul passed away peacefully on July 4, 2007.
Born on July 21, 1928 in Budapest, Hungary. He is survived by his loving
wife of 51 years, Nancy, daughters Christine (David) and Paula (Fred) and
grandchildren Julie and Mark. He will also be missed by his brother Alex and
his family. He was predeceased by his brother Francis. A graduate of
Vancouver College and UBC, Peter Paul enjoyed a long and successful business
career. He founded Laurentide Financial and Versatile Corporation and sat on
numerous boards across Canada including Wajax Limited, WIC Western
International Communications, Northwest Sports Enterprises, Axa Pacific
Insurance Company, Bank of B.C. and National Trust. Peter Paul was one of
the founding members of BCTV, Grouse Mountain and the local Chapter of YPO.
Peter Paul was active in the community and contributed his time and
resources to numerous community organizations and charities for many years
including as Chairman of the Arthritis Research Center of Canada and
Vancouver Opera Round Table, and as President of the Canadian Cancer
Society, Vancouver Symphony Society, and Vancouver Art Gallery Association.
In 1993, the Governor-General of Canada awarded Peter Paul the Commemorative
Medal for the 125th anniversary of Canadian Confederation in recognition of
Peter Paul's contribution to Canada, his community and fellow Canadians.
Peter Paul enthusiastically enjoyed outdoor pursuits such as golf, skiing,
hunting and boating with family and friends. The family wishes to thank Dr.
Amil Shaw and the staff at the B.C. Cancer Agency for their outstanding
service and care provided to Peter Paul. In lieu of flowers a donation on
Peter Paul's behalf can be made to the B.C. Cancer Agency or the Arthritis
Research Centre for Canada. A celebration of Peter Paul's life will be held
at Shaughnessy Golf Club on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m
Peter Paul lived a life in full. He will be sorely missed but not forgotten
by family and friends.
