ROSSO _ Lawrence Peter Joseph July 21, 1944 - July 20, 2006 I found so many
poems that tell of what a wonderful husband, father, grandfather,
brother-in-law and friend you were and of how you lived your life with such
grace and faith; especially through your long illness. These poems also tell
of your love of life; how you approached everything with such enthusiam,
especially bowling and woodcarving (yes, I remember you never liked to say
"artist"). They all say the same thing; I miss you. I can't wish for you to
be here because you wanted to go home and I'm sorry it took me so long to
ask you where you wanted to go. I know you are not suffering anymore and
that is what gives me some peace. Our friends have been so wonderful,
without them I wouldn't have made it through this first year without you. We
all miss you. I will always love you, thank you for being the sunshine of my
life. Marie

VAWRYK _ Richard Franklin It is with great sadness that we remember our dear
brother and friend, Richard Franklin Vawryk, 59, who died suddenly in a
traffic accident in Washington State June 26, 2007. Richard lived in Grand
Forks, British Columbia, at the time of the accident. Rich was an avid
golfer, marathoner, sports enthusiast and trucker. We can imagine him now
running his 13th marathon in heaven and lining up his tee shots for the
rounds of golf he planned to play. Rich shared his heart, soul and
possessions willingly with those who needed him. His caring extended to the
little cats and dogs who he loved and cared for. His little red Bible was a
constant companion and was with him when he died. You will never be
forgotten, Rich, by those who love you. Richard was pre-deceased by his
mother Rose Mary, his father Frank, and is remembered by Carol Hunter,
former wife, friends Eva Anthony, Prem Gatha, sisters Margaret MacDonald and
Gloria Taylor, brothers James Victor, Norman and Allan Vawryk and nephew
Kelly Taylor. There will be an opportunity to celebrate Rich's life on
Saturday, July 21, 2007, 11:00 am at 47 - 83rd Ave., Grand Forks British
Columbia. Rich would have appreciated a donation be made to the S.P.C.A. in
lieu of flowers.
