Oscar Richard (Bud)
May 13, 1911 ~ July 14, 2007
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bud at age 96. Bud
will be sadly missed and forever remembered lovingly by his wife of 72
years, Camillia, his son Richard (Aline); daughter Christina (Ross); and son
Dan (Maureen); 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 5 great great
grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his sister Winnifred and parents.
Bud was born in Koksilah, BC. Bud, Camillia and family moved to Campbell
River in 1949.
Bud was a logger and worked up and down the coast of Vancouver Island until
his retirement in 1977. He had a great love of the outdoors, hunting &
fishing with his children. He also leaves to mourn many relatives and
friends.
A Celebration of Life Tea will be held on Sunday July 29, 2007 at the Eagles
Hall on 14th Ave., Campbell River from 1-3p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Harold Minor
April 11, 1925 - July 13, 2007
Born in Piapot, Saskatchewan
Harold is predeceased by his parents John and Annie Elderkin and his brother
Jesse Elderkin. He is survived by his partner, Sylvia Worthing, Qualicum
Bay. Sons, Roy Elderkin of Port Hardy and Dale Elderkin of Comox and
daughters Lorraine Ramesbottom (Jim) of Comox and Beverly Henderson of
Vernon.
Brothers Lawrence Elderkin of Calgary, AB, and Gordon Elderkin (Bernice) of
Keremeos and sisters Jeannette Urquhart of Kamloops and Laura Goulet of
Richmond. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren
along with many nieces and nephews.
Harold moved with his family to Vancouver Island in the early 1950's where
he spent most of his life working primarily in the logging industry. Then in
1990 retired in the small community of Qualicum Bay.
Harold passed away peacefully July 13, 2007, at Nanaimo Regional General
Hospital after a short illness.
A Celebration of Life is being planned for Saturday July 28, 2007 at 1:00
p.m. in the Campbell River Community Hall, 401, 11th Ave. Campbell River, BC
