BLOTT _ Murray Passed away peacefully July 18, 2007 after a brief illness.
Born July 31, 1927 in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. Murray is survived by his
loving wife of 58 years, Joyce; daughter, Susan (Bruce); son, Larry;
grandchildren, David, Brian and Kim; and sister-in-law, Eleanor. Murray
worked in the credit department of Woodward's for 38 years. An avid curler,
Murray was a member of the Victoria Curling Club. A Celebration of Murray's
Life to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in
Murray's name would be appreciated to the Canadian Cancer Society.

CORKERY _ Barbara Ann. Barbara was born on the 6th of October, 1941 and
passed away peacefully on the 17th of July, 2007. Barbara is survived by her
husband Kenneth F. Grasser. Also her children, Toby Corkery, Eileen Corkery,
Kevin Corkery; daughter-in-law Caleen Corkery; granddaughter Jessica
Corkery; siblings Gary Monk, Dinnis Monk, Morine Karlson and her parents
Gordon and Catherine Monk. We will celebrate the life of Barbara at 10am on
the 8th of August, 2007 in the chapel at Avalon Surrey Funeral Home,
13288-108th Avenue, Surrey, B.C. A big thank you to Bob and Rosey Loudon and
Mary Libby and all other family and friends for their support.

COTE _ Maurice passed away peacefully on July 19, 2007 at Lions Gate
Hospital aged 82 years. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Marie of 47
years, son Robert, daughter Lucie (David), grandchildren Melissa, Wyatt,
Benjamin and by numerous relatives and dear friends. Vigil Prayer Service
will be held on Monday, July 23, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at Squamish Funeral

DAVIDSON _ Marie passed away peacefully in Richmond on Wednesday, July 18th,
2007 at the age of 65 years. Predeceased by her daughter-in-law Glenda and
granddaughter Chloe. Survived by her loving family, husband Dick; sons
Raymond (Celina), Stephen (Sandy); grandchildren Sadey, Blake and Evan.

JONES _ Virginia (nee Worms) born in Marysburg, Saskatchewan September 26,
1934 passed away suddenly but peacefully on July 18, 2007. Predeceased by
her husband Jim in 1991. She will be lovingly missed by her children Valerie
(Steve), Brenda (Garrett), Darryl, Tanya (Tony), her five grandchildren
Kylie, Tyrel, Jaydn, Megan, Justin, as well as her many brothers and
sisters. Services will be held July 26, 2007 at Eagle Ridge United Church in
Coquitlam at 2 pm. Donations made to the Cancer Society appreciated. Please
join us in her life celebration and share with us the love we had for our
mom.

SAPERSTEIN _ Manuel J., P.Eng (UBC 1959) Born Vancouver B.C. March 5, 1934
passed away on July 14, 2007. It is with great sadness that the Saperstein
family announces the sudden passing of Manuel .J. Saperstein, beloved
husband of Lillian and father of Cheryl, Ronald and Leslie, and grandsons
Jake and Michael. He also leaves behind his sister Rebecca (Alan) and his
brother-in-law Robert (Darlene) and many nieces and nephews. He worked many
years for B.C. Tel in the engineering Dept., eventually set up Saperstein
and Associates (Telecommunications Consultant engineering firm) and was a
pioneer in the cable television industry. He was a loving and caring man and
his family always came first. He will always be missed. Many people will
feel the loss. He was a man known for his integrity, honesty and sense of
humor. You will always be our hero and mentor and your principles and
traditions will be examples that will be followed by our family. The family
would like to thank the staff of Vancouver General Hospital (VGH) for their
efforts. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart Foundation
at VGH or a charity of your choice.

SHARP _ Winona "Nonie" passed away peacefully at the age of 85 with her
family at Peach Arch Hospital in White Rock July 19, 2007. She lovingly
devoted almost 50 years of her life to the excellence of the miniature
Dachshund breed. Nonie was predeceased by her husband Terry and is survived
by her sister Meta Grace, daughter Sally, sons Jim and Paul, and countless
miniature dachshunds. She will be greatly missed by all. Memorial Service
will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 28th at Victory Memorial Park
Funeral Centre, 14831 - 28th Ave., Surrey, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations
may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

THOMAS _ Hector passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 15th, 2007 at home in
Chilliwack, BC at the age of 80 years. He was born April 17, 1927 in West
Kirby, England. He will be greatly missed by his best friend and wife
Marilyn, his sons Daniel and Graham; stepdaughters, Kelly Blane and Tracey
(Ron) Brown and only grandson, Dylan and a few relatives in England. He was
predeceased by his first wife, Irene; brothers John, Bob and Jim and his
sisters Thora and Sylvia. Hector immigrated to Canada in 1978. He started up
his own business, Gradan Developments Inc. in Port Moody in 1980 and just
retired in 2006 at the age of 79. He was a self-taught musician on piano and
the accordion. He loved a party. He liked to play snooker, golf, darts, brew
wine and camp up at CRCG. He will be sadly missed by many friends. An
invitation is extended to family and friends to attend a Celebration of
Hector's life at his home on Sunday, August 12, 2007 at 1:00 pm. Many thanks
to the Fraser Health nurses and Home Support workers for their special care.

sisters Pauline (Fred), Olga (John), Rose (Alex), Anne (John) and Mary; 4
brothers John (Nina), Alex, Hank (Donna), Ed (Sharon), her very special
friend Nancy and many other relatives and friends. Funeral Service will be
held Thursday, July 26th at 2:00 p.m. in St. Mary the Virgin Church, 121 E.
Columbia St., New Westminster. Fr. John Bailey officiating. Interment to
follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Special thanks to the staff of Queen's Park
Hospice for their loving care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations to
Queen's Park Hospice or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
