Hi all,
Am wondering if anyone has any info on this Chase. There is a book entitled: "Dr. Chase's Recipes or Information For Everybody." The following is a caption under a picture in the front of the book:

Entered by Act of Congress in the year 1863 by A.W. Chase, M.D.
Dr. Chase's Office, Corner of Main and Catherine Streets, Ann Arbor Michigan, was built expressly to enable him to introduce greater facilities to get out his "Recipes" sufficiently fast to satisfy the increasing demand for his work.
The picture is of a large building...!

Then, it states it is the 38th Edition, published by the Author, in 1866. In it is included a Preface to the 10th edition.

Think his 1st name may be Asa.........and there is reference and a picture of (I believe it's a picture of the University of Michigan or of the U. of Ann Arbor Michigan.)
