Sorry, I have no info on A.W. Chase but I also have a copy of the
"Dr. Chase's Recipes" book, but copyrighted in 1902. Also on the
cover it says "Enlarged and Improved Edition" and contains 600
pages. Published by Stanton and VanVliet Co. of Chicago. The cover
is illustrated showing a nurse at the bedside of a patient. The
first page has a lithograph of the good doctor. It is signed
"Respectfully A. W. Chase M. D."
