I am searching for descendants of my g-g aunt Sarah Alice SMYTH/SMITH b. 17 Aug 1856 and her husband John W. CLARK. They were married 8 Feb 1876 in North Norwich, Oxford County, Ontario Canada.
Sarah was the daughter of John and Mary (SPARKHALL) SMYTH.
John was the son of John and Harriett (SIPA) CLARK.
I have a typewritten copy of the Golden Wedding Anniversary of Sarah's parents which was published in a local newspaper stating the the reception was held at the home of their daughter, Mrs. J. W. Clark, "of this town" but unfortunately it does not give the name of the newspaper. This date was May 14, 1884.
