Billie L. Clark Sr., 63
Loving husband, father and grandfather.
LOVES PARK-Billie L. Clark, 63, of Loves Park went to be with his Lord at 10:20 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, 2002, in his home, surrounded by his family and friends, after a three year courageous battle with kidney cancer.
Born Aug. 24, 1938, in Lowell, Neb., son of Reuben and Alberta (Tuttle) Clark. Veteran of Korea, serving in the U.S. Navy. Maried Myra Morey on Sept. 2, 1966, in Torrington, Wy. Employed by Ingersoll Milling Machine for 10 years, retiring in 2001. Previously employed by Greenlee Brothers Love Baptist Church and was acitve in Awana Ministries and Jolly 60s at church. Survivors include wife, Mrya; daughters, Debby (Scott) Johnson of Omaha, Neb., Sandy (Alan) Franzen of Loves Park, Wendy (Gregg) Nelson of Rockford and Lori (Glenn) Atkins of California; son, Billie Clark, Jr., of Florida; grandchildren, Heath, Heather, Seth, Lauren, Mandy, Sabrina, Jacob, Hallie, Cara, Bryce, Destiny, Charity and Bo; sisters, Wendy (Glen) Lindeberg of Beloit, Wis., and Betty Olson of Missouri; brother, Sonny Clark of Virginia; and several nieces and nephews. Services at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, in North Love Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Kingsbury and the Rev. Dan Outler officiating. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 4, in the church. Arrangements by Delehanty Funeral Home Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves park. Because of his love for his children and grandchildren and his commitment to Christian education, in lieu of flowers, memorials to North Love Squires Club for the school playground fund.
Note: I am of no relation, but my sympathies go out to those of you who are.
