I am searching for descendents of Perry Coats & Louisa J. Rash.
Perry was the son of Benjamin Coats and Elizabeth Coats; the grandson
of Wilson Coats and Catherine Ruyle, the g-grandson of William Coats
Jr. and Frances; the gg-grandson of William Coats,Sr., and the ggg-
grandson of Thomas Coats of Glasgow. Perry and Louisa were married
in Polk County, Mo. They moved to Galena, Ks., and then to Newton
County, Mo. They had ten children -- Elizabeth Coats, Benjamin L.
Coats, John W Coats, William A. Coats, Mary A. Coats, Martha Coats,
Josephine Coats, Samuel Coats, Emma Coats, and Henry Coats. I am
descended from Josephine Coats who married Joseph Shaw. If anyone
can help with information on the other children of Perry and Louisa,
I would certainly appreciate hearing from you.
