Can't confirm Samuel Evans Coulter's parents. He was born 1838, was a
United Brethren minister in (Marion?) Ohio, served as a Capt. Co. E 96th
Reg. Ohio Volunteer Infantry in the Civil War, & died in a Confederate
hospital in 28 Apr 1864 in Louisiana (I have his diaries - he mentions
writing to an Uncle Samuel, an Uncle William Coulter, and a sister Margaret
- which looks like it might make him the son of John Coulter & Jane Kerr,
as all the names connect). He married 22 Apr 1861, Rebecca Mary Andrews b
Ohio, & they had a son Frank Evans Coulter b 17 Apr 1862, Marion OH.

Anyone have any info on this?
