Surname: Coulter, Pokes, Phelps, Smith

Need any information on Bud Coulter killed by a
rancher who lived in Roger Mills Co., OK or the
killing took place in Roger Mills County. I
believe Bud Coulter is the same as William
Coulter who was born about 1836 in Sherman, TX.
He married Mary E.Pokes (Choctaw Roll No. 10852)
and they had at least one child, Mary Etta
Coulter b. abt. 1862 in Sherman, TX. She married
Morgan Lee Smith. They had the following children
Cora A.,Albert, Rosa Lee, Effie, Myrtle A. and
Ruthie. William also married Martha Phelps. Thank
you for any help you can give.
