shirley hornback e-mailed me your inquiry. However, I cannot help you on
a Coulter line that late in PA. Marie Coulter, if his mother, born 1807,
now that is always a possible. My line is John Colter/Coulter of Lewis
& Clark Expedition. However, he was up-river after the Expedition came
back in 1807, went back up the Missouri River, came home a few times between
1807 & 1810. He could, however, have been married before he joined the
Expedition in 1803. I think he was from PA and have been combing all PA
Coulters. Was Marie Coulter married name or was this an illegitimate birth?
