Sorry, I don't know much about Alexander,just about as much as you posted.
I will check my files and see what I can find. If I find anything, I'll
let you know.

We (when I say we, I mean me and some 4th cousins, and more, I found through
the internet who have pooled our research efforts) have run across this
Alexander often, but have been unsuccessful in finding out anything about
him or connecting him to our family. Some of those cousins will probably
be responding also, with more information than I have. We didn't, however,
know his wife's name, until now; in light of that, we may be kin!

I'm sure you have or, at least, are familiar with the book "The Chenoweth
Family in America" by Richard and Shirley Harris. If you will turn to pages
502 and 505 you will find listed my ancestors Joseph Coulter and Susan
Hildebrand of Huntington County, Indiana, who were parents of two Coulters
who married Chenoweths.

My family comes from Berkeley County, West Virginia and are closely kin
to the Pughs of that area. Before that Harford County, Maryland and beginning
in Sussex County, Delaware, in 1719. We have reason to believe that before
that they were in Dumfries, Scotland.
