My McLaughlins came from Irealand to Baltimore. Other major ports of
entry on the east coast would be Philadelphia, New York and Boston.
There were other smaller ports along the Carolinas and even New Orleans
seems to be a major port though I guess it really isn't east coast.
Canada also had ports that were busy.
