Increased activity on this list gives me hope that someone may help me
find the parents of my 2xgreat-grandmother, Charity Coulter. I have been
looking for her some ten years.

This is what I know: she was born abt 17 Mar 1815 in Coshocton county,
OH. I say "about" because that is the year that fits with census records
from 1850 and 1860. Her death certificate gives 1812, which is probably
too early.

She died 27 Apr 1896 in Coshocton county, OH and is buried in Lafayette
twp in the Baptist church cemetery.

She married Isaac Wiggins (born abt 1810 in Coshocton co., OH, d bef 18
Mar 1851 when his estate was probated) 13 Oct 1836 in Coshocton co., OH
and had 11 children, the last born in Mar 1851. The children are:
Thomas, James, Edward, Isaac, Cynthia, Margaret, John, Sarah, Francis
(Frank), Daniel, and George Wiggins.

Her "certified" death certificate lists parents as W B Wiggins
(impossible) and Charity Colter (also impossible). No help there.

The only other Coulter family listed in 1820 US census of Coshocton co.,
OH is that of William B Coulter, but he does not list Charity in his
estate.

Can anyone help or point me in another direction?
