I have a GEORGE W. COULTER who was born in DISTRICT of COLUMBIA about 1824.

In his Ohio 1894 it said that he was born in DISTRICT of COLUMBIA. On his son
GEORGE W. COULTER, Jr's 1930 death certificate it also stated that his father
was born in DISTRICT of COLUMBIA. On all Ohio census records found for GEORGE
W. COULTER, SR. it states that he was born in VA.

He was in Ohio by 1850, and on this census, GEORGE W. COULTER, SR. had a 13
year old named Caroline MANKIN living with him.

I checked the District of Columbia 1820 census and there is not a single
Coulter listed, but on the 1830 census a PETER COULTER is listed.

Any help out there?
